At Akupanels.ie, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are not entirely happy with your order, we are here to help. Our policy lasts 14 days from the date you receive your goods.

1. Right to Cancel (Change of Mind)

Under the European Union (Consumer Information, Cancellation and Other Rights) Regulations, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days without giving any reason.

  • The Period: The cancellation period will expire 14 days from the day you, or a third party indicated by you, acquires physical possession of the panels.

  • Notification: To exercise this right, you must inform us of your decision to cancel by a clear statement (e.g., an email to your contact address).

2. Conditions for Returns

To be eligible for a return, please ensure that:

  • The panels are in their original packaging.

  • The product is unused, undamaged, and in the same condition that you received it.

  • You have the receipt or proof of purchase.

  • Items that have been cut, installed, or altered in any way cannot be returned unless they are faulty.

4. Shipping & Return Costs

  • Change of Mind: You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

  • Recommendation: As acoustic panels are bulky, we highly recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

  • Collection: In some instances, we may be able to arrange a collection for a fee, which will be deducted from your final refund.

5. Damaged or Faulty Goods

In the unlikely event that your panels arrive damaged or are faulty:

  • Please inspect your order upon delivery.

  • Notify us within 24–48 hours of receipt with photographic evidence of the damage to the product and the packaging.

  • We will arrange for a replacement or a full refund, including any delivery charges.

6. Refunds

Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item.

  • If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your original method of payment.

  • You will receive the credit within a certain amount of days, depending on your card issuer's policies (typically 5–10 business days).

7. Trade Customers

Returns for trade and B2B (Business to Business) orders may be subject to a restocking fee. Please contact our Mullingar office directly to discuss trade-specific terms.
